Day job news: Very, very busy. But, I got one thing done, so there's a pretty good chance I'll get the rest of them done.

One good thing about being so busy is that I don't have much time to be anxious about Clarion. But "not much time" isn't the same as "no time," so I'm managing to be a bit anxious.

The Fitness Center is redoing the tile in the men's locker room, so the showers are closed for the week. That makes scheduling workouts harder. Instead of just showering and then going to work, I have to come home in between. That doesn't leave enough time for a run in the morning. Today I managed to get my run in after work. I was pretty tired, so I didn't do the whole two miles, but it was a run.

The lifting actually went quite well. I pushed up several weights slightly, on purpose, and one I pushed up by quite a bit, by accident. I managed to get in eleven reps, though, which probably means I haven't been being as aggressive as I ought to. I start getting injuries when I push too much, so I tend to be pretty conservative about pushing the weights up. But it felt good to do as much as I could on that one.

No writing today. Not even much time for thinking about writing. But on the way home from work I heard a piece of a story on the radio about a program to help recently released prisoners. It had a couple of tidbits that might end up in a story. One of the ideas in my list of story ideas has to do with a program for releasing prisoners.
