Philip Brewer's Writing Progress

It's been kind of a long week without a lot to show for it. I got the taxes (nearly) done--all that's left is to address the envelopes, copy, sign, and mail everything. I got some work done at work. I ran and lifted twice. But I didn't get any writing done to speak of.

Today the first day of summer weather here. It was warm enough to run in shorts and a t-shirt at 6:30 this morning. That will increase the amount I get out to run by quite a bit, if it persists.

I've been reading Pilots Choice by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. But the copy I got was defective--pages 457-488 are missing (pages 425-456 are bound in twice). It was quite a blow to discover that about ten minutes into my lunch hour today. (I suppose it is mostly a testament to how good my life is that I find this a true hardship.)

I've started doing odds and ends around the borders of preparing for Clarion. I'm honing my list of things to bring. I've started a file of story ideas in case I can't think of anything (this is rarely a problem for me, but a file of ideas can't hurt).

It is less than two months to Clarion!
