I spent Friday night and most of this afternoon upgrading my desktop machine to MacOS X. It has gone pretty well. I'm kind of annoyed that the main program I use for editing stories, NisusWriter, doesn't seem to work. I bought the latest version just a few months ago, and had assumed that it was close enough to be able to work in classic mode. But no--it just quits "unexpectedly." Other than that, though, things seem to be pretty much working.

So, no writing, but I think I'm just about ready to start writing. (There are several other programs I can use for writing, at least temporarily.)

Jackie and I went to the farmer's market this morning, then lifted weights, then took a class in CPR. Now we're both certified. That's a straight line if ever I wrote one, but I find I'm too tired go anywhere with it. Besides the CPR, we also got training in how to use an automated defibrillator. That was kind of interesting.
