I was looking for a tug-of-war stuffie for Ashley and saw a sloth one. She loves it. I think she may just hang on to it forever. 📷🐕

Taking the short way, past the back of the Sunsinger, rather than around. About 2 miles into my run.

Time and distance are for my run, not the woolly bear’s.

At over 9 miles, this is my longest run ever.

And, in case anyone is interested, here’s a map of the run:

A very nice hike with @jackieLbrewer along the Trillium Trail in Giant City State Park.

I think she was having a good time.

This handsome fellow was hanging out right outside our front window, vibrating the tip of his tail as if he had a rattle. East-Central Illinois.

I nipped into Harvest Market this morning to pick up a couple of fillets of fjord trout, while Jackie baked a pie with the Zestar apples we bought a few days ago.

Fillets seasoned with just salt and pepper, and cooked in a cast iron skillet with a little coconut oil. Delicious!

I write science fiction and fantasy stories.

I speak Esperanto, and use it to communicate internationally. Esperantistoj, legu mian esperantan hejmpaĝon.

For a while I taught Taiji. My current hobby is HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts, aka sword fighting).

For eleven years I was a senior writer at Wise Bread, writing about personal finance and frugality.

Before that I spent a quarter-century as a software engineer.
